Wow, How time flies!!

It's been almost a year since I have posted anything. Crazy, right? Well in that year Sean and Kali have grown so much. Kali just turned 3 and Sean will be 5 in 9 days. They also found out that they are gonna have twin brothers in April or May (lord willing). We go on Thursday to have a level 2 sonogram performed. There is an extra sac that they believe may have been a vanishing triplet but they need to confirm that and check the growth of the babies. First of several trips I assume. Keep praying that I carry at least 36 weeks, but the longer the better. Terence and I decided to have one more baby and we are getting two. The Lord must have wanted me to have 4 kids because my tubal was scheduled for after the third pregnancy. We are really excited about it though. Just gotta see about selling our house and finding a bigger one with one more bedroom and another bathroom. I am a teacher's aide at the elementary. I love my job but am afraid that I will most likely not go back to work after the twins are born. The childcare will be outrageous and don't know of any daycares that will take twins. That's ok though. Will have lots of time to bond with them and their siblings. I might even go back to school and finish my degree in teaching so when they get big enough I can go back to work and have the same hours as them. Ok. I'm finished, here are some pics of the kids from Christmas, etc. and pics of the twins.

Just Catchin' Up!!

I know that it has been FOREVER since I have updated. Holidays are really busy, what can I say. So here goes. I sold my first house. YAY!!! Kali turned 2 on December 21st. My sweet baby. Sean will be 4 in less than a week on the 12th. He's growing so fast. I turned 25 yesterday. Half way to Randy's age. Had the best New Year's party ever. We stayed home and had a kid party and invited other families over. We played Wii and watched the ball drop. Had a wonderful time and will do it again next year. I also will be starting a new job this week at Aaron's. Since taking that offer I have received two more that were unexpected. When God opens a door, I guess he gives you different paths to choose also. That's ok though. Having to tell someone that I can't do it because of another job is better than not having an offer to turn down. Terence is still working at United. A wonderful company to work for. Hope it stays with them for a long time as long as that's what makes him happy. Anyways here are some pics from Christmas and Birthdays.

Substituting

I have embarked on a new journey. I have become a substitute teacher. Somedays when I am at the school, I feel like I may have missed my calling. Who know's? I'm praying about it to see what the next step in my life should be. I enjoy being with those kids soooo very much. It is awesome to see how they respond to the teachers. When noone else will help them or pay attention they can count on a teacher to be there.

It amazes me how they respond to me. I have taught all the grade levels a little and they are all so fun to watch. I have to admit my favorite class so far is special needs. Those kids are awesome. They are so intelligent, but just have a different way of showing it. They are so unique. Not that all kids aren't, but the special needs kids are even more unique. It is so cool to watch how they respond to everyday things. Hats off to the teachers that work with them everyday. They learn more than the kids do because they have to learn the different ways the kids react to know how to respond to the kids. They do a super job though.

I never knew that working with kids would be so rewarding. By that I mean the feeling you have when you realize that you have taught them something new that they will carry with them forever. And also that they will never forget you. I have so many kids that see me in the hallways, or even out in town running errands, that say that's Mrs. Murphy. I feel that just a few days with them will leave an impact that will last a lifetime.KIDS ARE AMAZING!!! Hug your kids and thank God for what they are and what they will become!
